What data we process and why

Contact: if you write to us by email, phone, WhatsApp or Instagram, we process your name, contact details and message to reply to you. Bookings and memberships: when you book a class or buy a membership, we process your contact details, bookings, training history and payment data to provide the service, manage your account and meet our tax obligations. Coaching: if you tell us about your goals, your level or physical complaints, we only use it to adapt your training. Website visits: our hosting provider logs technical data (IP address, browser, date and time) so the website works and stays secure.

Legal basis

Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (bookings, memberships, answering your questions), legal obligations (invoicing and accounting), your consent when you share health information so we can adapt your training, and our legitimate interest in running the website securely.

Who we share your data with

We use service providers who process data on our behalf: Momence (booking and membership platform), Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (website hosting) and, if you message us there, WhatsApp/Meta. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case they do so with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties unless required by law.

How long we keep it

As long as you are a customer or member and afterwards for the legal retention periods (for example 6 years for accounting and tax records). Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted once they are no longer needed.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability of your data, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to boutiquegymformentera@gmail.com. If you think we are not handling your data correctly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
